My stay at the hotel was truly exceptional. The room was stunning with an amazing view and had all the facilities I could need. We were warmly welcomed with a glass of fizz, and there was no pressure to be shown to our room. The location overlooking the loch was amazing. The food and service were first class, and I will definitely return. However, the dining experience was quite the opposite of our expectations.

The service was exceptional with high-quality local produce beautifully cooked and a daily changing menu. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the head chef who personally shared menu details. The location overlooking the loch was breathtaking, though a bit far from the main tourist town of Portree. The dining was outstanding, probably the best I have ever experienced, with delightful dishes like the nutmeg porridge, accompanied by a visit from the Easter bunny. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The lodge offers great room experiences with cozy log burning fires in true Scottish style, despite some strange interiors that don't match the rest of the lodge. The service is welcoming and professional but could benefit from staff with more local area knowledge. The location is excellent with stunning views, although a refresh could enhance the overall appeal. The dining, from evening meals to breakfast, is impressive and satisfying, particularly in the stunning dining room. Overall, a charming stay with lovely room features and exceptional dining.
